Studio Luna Stanca is run by Paola Zappulla. After graduating from the London College of Fashion with a BA (Hons) in Cordwainers Footwear, she began her career working as a cobbler for Christian Louboutin. There, she mastered the fundamentals of shoe repair and was trained to achieve a luxury-standard finish in her craft. Paola then moved on to work at The Restory in the advanced shoe repair department, where she honed her skills further and developed a creative, problem-solving approach to her work. She also received training in handbag and small leather goods repairs, as well as leather restoration techniques, which enriched her expertise.

In 2023, Paola founded Studio Luna Stanca, her own repair studio, where she combines both traditional and innovative techniques to deliver luxury-level repairs that breathe new life into cherished leather items.
